| Daytimers have an urgent need for drivers
|
Can you help?
We have applied for a grant from the Cunliffe fund for an hour a day phoning help from the office because transportation has become a major problem for us. We're in urgent need of volunteers who can help bring older seniors to the Daytimers on the second and fourth Thursday of the month and stay for our programs.

A number of UCV members are house-bound, in care homes, or in hospital. If you are interested in volunteering some time to drop in for a visit with fellow members of the congregation, get in touch with Diane Donaldson, UCV Services Committee by email.

| Your Library Needs You!
|

The UCV Library Committee is a wonderful group of people dedicated to the many functions performed within the Library and at the Literature Stall as well as for our three annual church fundraiser Book Bashes. We meet monthly and work weekly, taking turns, so that we can keep the Library and Literature Stall stocked and well-run and plan for our great book sales as well.
We are a cheerful group that enjoys good conversation, tasty food and friendship as well as our commitment to Library goals. Our numbers are not many, but our enthusiasms are limitless! And we need you!
Are you a booklover who might enjoy greeting and serving fellow Unitarians in the Library or at the Literature Stall on Sundays? We are very interested in attracting new members to our Library Committee. Qualifications? Joy in working with others, love of books and any other skills one may have such as computer literacy, library cataloguing and processing, interest in learning library tasks and having fun with other like-minded souls.
Our UCV Library offers a great service in our community and has been around for decades. We would be happy to have you join us. Come into the Library to talk with us.
