The proceeds are used to buy new books and to support the church.
Watch for notices advertising the sale and asking for donations of books. The library also welcomes donations of books any Sunday. We accept books in good condition only, without marked pages. Please, no magazines, tapes, encyclopedias, computer or business books, textbooks, or former library books.

Be The Change! -- Ghandi
Sundays, for eight weeks beginning January 17, 1:30 – 3:30 pm, Lindsey-Priestly Room, Hewett Centre
$20 donation for the change action guides, usable for future programs
"Never doubt that a small group of committed individuals can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." Margaret Mead
Beginning Sunday, January 17, a small group will meet to study, commit to, and celebrate environmental changes we make in our lives. We will keep track of our changes in habits and measure the global warming impact with tools in the action guides. Experts from within our group and outside sources will lead our discussions, with a different person volunteering to facilitate each week. The Be The Change subcommittee of the Environment Committee is offering this program.
